What defines it
Small, collectable and endlessly giftable. Every charm is weighed, karat tested and checked at the jump ring before it goes online.
What to look for
Charms are small, so the joins tell the story. We check the jump ring and the solder at the bail, whether the charm opens, moves or is meant to, and that any enamel, glass or stone is original rather than a later replacement. Gold is karat tested rather than read off a worn mark, and the weight is recorded. Wear on a charm is part of its life, not a fault: a rubbed engraving usually means it was carried for years.
What it costs
Pieces here range from roughly $250 for everyday gold to $50,000 and beyond for exceptional fine jewelry.
