Taxes & duties included — no surprises at your door
The most common worry we hear from American customers is the courier knocking with an unexpected bill. That cannot happen here. Duties and taxes are paid by us before the parcel leaves the Netherlands, and the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Import duties included
US orders ship DDP, delivered duty paid. Import duties and taxes are calculated and paid by us before the parcel leaves the Netherlands, so nothing is collected at your door and there is no customs paperwork for you to handle.
Delivery times
For in-stock pieces that do not need alterations, please allow an estimated 5–10 business days from order confirmation to delivery in the United States. This includes preparation and shipping from the Netherlands. Delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed dates. Customs inspections, public holidays and remote destinations may take longer. We send tracking details when your parcel leaves us. If you need a piece for a particular date, contact us before ordering.
Fully insured, signature required
Every parcel is insured door to door for the full purchase value and travels with a tracked, signature-required service. You receive the tracking number the moment the parcel is collected.
30 day returns, free return shipping
If a piece is not right, tell us within 30 days of delivery and send it back in the condition it arrived for a full refund. Return shipping within the US is free: contact us first and we will send a prepaid, insured return label, so the piece is covered on the way back too.

Resizing, repairs and aftercare
Our own goldsmiths can resize most plain shanks before a piece ships, usually at no cost. Resizing adds time. We confirm the expected timing before work begins; allow up to 5 extra business days for standard resizing, subject to the actual job. Engraved, milgrained and eternity bands often cannot be resized without damaging the design, and we will always say so before you order rather than after.
Made-to-order Atelier pieces have a separate, quote-specific production estimate, currently about 6 to 8 weeks. Shipping time follows production and is not included in that estimate.
After the warranty year we are still here. Send a piece back to the workshop for a claw check, a restring or a repair at any point, and we will quote before we start.
