Not sure where to start? We will guide you.
Seven short questions — shape, stone, metal, setting, size, budget and timing — and every one of them can be skipped. You will see the rings we have right now, sold rings from our archive for inspiration, and then the part that matters most: a private video viewing with the specialist who checked the ring.

Why vintage
Why a vintage engagement ring
There is only one of it
Period rings were made in small workshop runs or as single commissions, and what survives has already lived a life. When a ring here sells we cannot order another one, which is the plainest definition of one of a kind there is.
Character you cannot order new
Old mine and old European cuts were shaped by hand for candlelight, and they glow in broad flashes rather than sparkling fast. Add hand-cut millegrain, pierced galleries and claws formed one at a time, and you get a ring that reads as made rather than manufactured.
A piece that already exists
No new mining is required for a ring that already exists. The gold was refined and the stones were cut generations ago, and the ring simply changes hands again. Nobody can certify where a century-old stone was originally mined, so we make no claim about its original history; what we can say is that buying it creates no new extraction.
Value against new luxury
A vintage ring does not carry the cost of a new retail brand, so the same budget often buys more ring. It is not a rule: scarce signed pieces with fine old cut centers can cost more than a plain new solitaire. Compare like for like and we will help you do it.
How it works
From a video call to a ring in your hand
01
See it live on video
A jeweler takes the exact ring into daylight and shows you the hallmark, the setting and any wear, in your own time zone.
02
Reserved 15 minutes at checkout
Every ring is a single piece. Once you start checkout it is held for you for fifteen minutes so nobody buys it out from under you.
03
Free insured shipping, duties included
Door to door, fully insured and tracked. Import duties and taxes are already inside the price, so nothing is collected on delivery.
04
30 days to change your mind
Return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, with free insured return shipping inside the US.
05
Free resizing by our own goldsmith
Most rings are resized at our own bench before shipping, at no charge. Where a ring cannot safely be resized, the product page says so.
Any piece over $5,000 ships with a detailed valuation & authenticity report prepared by our gemologist, with photographs, full specifications and a dated value. Rings arrive in proposal-ready packaging, so you can take the box straight out with you.
Cannot find the one?
We will go and look for it
Tell us the style, the stone, the size and the budget you have in mind. We buy from European families and estates every week, and our buyers keep a list of what customers are waiting for.

Atelier, made to order
Atelier is our own line: newly made jewelry, hand crafted in vintage style by our own goldsmiths in the Netherlands. It is new, not antique, and it is never described as being from a historical period, only as inspired by one.

What buyers say
Bought from the Netherlands, worn in the US
We publish our seller score straight from the review platform rather than picking favorites, so what you see here is whatever our customers have actually given us.
Every ring is checked by our in-house gemologist before it is listed, and by our own goldsmith before it is shipped. A Dutch family jewelry business since 1973, with four locations in the Netherlands.
