What we guarantee, in writing
You are buying a piece you cannot hold, from a jeweler on another continent. That only works if everything we say is verifiable. We have been trading from physical stores in the Netherlands since 1973, our metals are checked by an independent national assay office, and every promise below applies to every order.
Authenticity guarantee
Every piece is described exactly as it is. If any piece is ever shown not to be as described in period, metal or stones, we refund the full purchase price, with no time limit.
Material guarantee
Gold, silver and platinum standards are hallmarked or independently tested at our own bench. We state the tested standard rather than repeating a mark we cannot read.
Checked by our in-house gemologist
Stones are examined and identified before a piece is listed, and treatments and synthetics are disclosed in the description.
Dutch assay office hallmarking
Where Dutch law requires it, precious metal is hallmarked by a recognized Dutch assay office, which tests and stamps the metal standard.
One year warranty
Manufacturing and setting faults are covered for a full year from delivery, including loose stones and failed solder joints.
Insured worldwide shipping
Every parcel is fully insured door to door for the purchase value, tracked, and signed for on delivery.
Import duties included
US orders ship DDP. Duties and taxes are paid by us, so nothing is collected at your door.
30 day returns, free return shipping
If a piece is not right, send it back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Return shipping within the US is free and insured.
Secure checkout
Card payments are handled by Mollie, a regulated European payment provider supervised by the Dutch central bank. Your card details are entered on Mollie's secure page and never touch our systems, and every transaction sits inside the normal card protection framework. We never ask for a bank transfer to a private account.
Checked by people, not by a form
Every piece passes our own goldsmiths and our in-house gemologist before it is listed. We photograph the hallmark, note every repair, and describe condition as we would to a customer standing in front of us. If we cannot read a mark, we say so and give the tested metal standard instead.
