What we check on a pair of cufflinks
That both links match in metal, weight and construction, that the fittings open and close properly, and that the marks agree with the metal. Anything replaced is stated in the description.

We describe the metal and fineness from the marks we can read, note the fitting (chain link, swivel bar or fixed back) and record any wear or repair we find. Where a maker or a date is not verified, we say so rather than guess.
Our gemologist, a GIA Graduate Gemologist (GG), checks any stones before a pair is listed, and you can see every pair live on a private video viewing before you decide.
