The case for gold that already exists

Every antique piece we sell is metal that has already been mined.

Nothing we sell required new mining. The gold in a Victorian locket came out of the ground before anyone alive today was born, and it is still perfectly good gold.

Where a piece is beyond saving, our goldsmiths work the metal into something new rather than sending it away. Those pieces are sold under our Atelier line and are always labeled as newly handcrafted, never as vintage.

That distinction matters to us and it matters legally in the United States. An authentic vintage or estate piece and a new Atelier piece are two different things, and every product page says which one you are looking at.

Every piece is unique. One of our specialists will show it to you in daylight on a private video call, in your own time zone.
